Windocks Announces Rancher Labs Partnership for SQL Server Cloud Native Support The combination of Rancher and Windocks gives Kubernetes users the ability to modernize Windows SQL Server databases with cloud native support and workflows, extending investments in SQL Server with improved economy, efficiency, and higher quality software delivery.

Windocks, a leader in Windows SQL Server containers and database cloning, today announced its integration with Rancher Labs. Now available in the Rancher catalog, Windocks integrates SQL Server containers and cloned databases with Rancher for users to run databases, CI/CD applications, and SQL Server Report Services, under the control of Kubernetes.

Rancher deploys Kubernetes clusters anywhere, on any provider and unites them under centralized authentication and access control. Both infrastructure and OS agnostic, the Windocks/Rancher integration allows users to deploy SQL Server databases and mission-critical applications anywhere.

Windocks version 4.5 is now available, supporting Active Directory, Windows Auth, with SQL Server Database Engine and Report Services, and Linked Servers.

Windocks will present a Kubernetes Master Class on Managing SQL Server with Kubernetes, on October 1, 2019.
