Over the years we’ve established our business with market leading support for Windows SQL Server environments, as the only firm with writable Windows SQL Server snapshots, and for unique Docker Windows SQL Server containers. We were also the first to support Oracle database virtualization on industry standard Linux. These capabilities our supported customers will continue. We’re count ourselves fortunate to support forward looking enterprises around the world.
Like many in the industry we have caught the AI fever, and are excited to announce a new brand and expanded purpose. LangGrant puts the emphasis on AI powered data, with a strong focus on enterprise governance (ie., Lang & Grant). It’s satisfying to again lead the market with the first fully automated database context MCP server, which is foundational to our new release.
Our new MCP server features a number of firsts:
- Fully automated database context, enabling public or private LLMs to comprehend enterprise databases, in compliance with enterprise policies, and zero data exposure.
- Full range of analytic pipeline tools, including cross table and cross database joins, data cleansing and normalization, PII protection, statistical measures, logical features, and aggregations and grouping of data.
- LLM generated analytic pipelines are saved, easily reviewed and validated, and executed to deliver data. This orchestration includes flexible data delivery as a database table, flat file, or delivery to a data lake.
From user prompt to delivered analytic data pipeline is completed in roughly 60 seconds, and often represents what otherwise would require days of skilled engineering. In short, LangGrant is the first AI native, end to end solution for analytic answers to business questions.
The new identity and capabilities are adding to our established business, and we’ll continue to serve customers with modern Test Data Management and database cloning or virtualization. Our database subsetting also carries forward, with a new role of enhancing database context with synthetic data for cross database context. You'll notice that we feature database cloning in our new solution, to address Agent developers needs for complete databases for their development work.
